Shotl Events this November

November sees SHOTL showcasing at three of Europe’s most renowned Transportation and Smart-City events. Come join us out on the road where we’ll be rubbing shoulders with some of this year’s most celebrated innovators and disruptors.

6 - 7 November - Fleet Europe Summit, Estoril, Portugal

We kick off our month of events at the Fleet Europe Summit in Estoril, Portugal. The summit is considered by many to be Europe’s number one international conference for fleet and mobility leaders alike. It combines two full days of education, information, knowledge sharing, and networking which we are very excited about! Previous editions have attracted over 1000 mobility-influencers and decision-makers and this year’s event is set to roll out in just the same way.

The two-day event will be held at the Estoril Congress Centre, just 25KM away from Lisbon Airport; located right next door to the city’s famous sea-view casino. We have excitingly been selected alongside 11 other finalists to compete for the Smart Mobility Start-Up of the Year Award so in the afternoon on Wednesday we will have the opportunity to pitch Shotl in front of a panel of judges and attendees. Our position as finalists also means that we get our own dedicated Shotl space in the Start-Up area which lies right in the heart of the networking village.

19 - 21 November - Smart City Expo World Congress 2019, Barcelona, Spain

The mission of this internationally renowned congress is “to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe”, and it sure does manage to do so. As the world’s leading event for cities, the congress offers an undeniably rich meeting point in which the whole smart city ecosystem can come together. It promotes values of social inclusion, sustainability and empowerment, and its overall aim is to educate and advance critical-thinking around the smart urban revolution.

This year’s event will take place over three days and feature guest speakers from diverse sectors and companies. Industry innovators from Bloomberg, Siemens, and NASA will be sharing their voice at the event and adding to the truly progressive global dialogue. The Shotl team will be in the Start-Up area and we will be speaking and pitching at the event. More details to follow!

27 - 28 Nov - Polis Annual Conference, Brussels, Belgium

European regional and local authorities have been working together within Polis Since 1989. The Polis network “promotes sustainable mobility through the deployment of innovative transport solutions” and its annual conference is an opportunity for European authorities to showcase their transport achievements in front of a large audience of experts, practitioners and decision-makers.

This year’s event will take place at The Egg, a unique modular space located in a transformed post-industrial building. We are delighted to be speaking alongside other mobility leaders from across Europe. We will also have a stand at the event so watch this space.

As always, for more info follow us on Twitter @rideshotl where you can find out how to find us at any of the events detailed above.
