Shotl participates at FIA's Mobility round table

In July 2021, our Co-founder and CEO, Gerard Martret, attended the annual conference of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

Here, he had the opportunity to participate in a round table on Fostering Business Diversification and Innovation in Mobility Clubs. This Mobility Session gave real-world examples of how Mobility Clubs can analyze, rationalize and diversify to build back better for the future.

Asked why mobility clubs should get involved with small companies like Shotl, Mr. Martret illustrated the need for startups like Shotl, targeting specific problems, to cooperate with large organizations in order to grow. He outlined Shotl’s business model of licensing technology and providing white label solutions and explained how it is built on data-sharing. During his intervention, he commented, “Ongoing cooperations with multiple mobility startups towards the co-creation of new business models are signs of a bright future for this centennial organization.”
