We are excited to announce that Shotl has won a Gold Award at the 2019 edition of The European Start-up Prize for Mobility (EUSP). EUSP is an initiative supported by both the European Parliament and the EU Commission which aims to act as a unique accelerator programme; highlighting and supporting breakthrough innovations that are destined to transform and shape the landscape of future mobility.
This year, EUSP received 571 applicants, Start-ups which were all judged based on a rigorous set of criteria. The selection process looked at principles such as innovation, ecological impact, and market traction. Out of all the applications only 50 made it to the final which took place in Brussels at the exquisite Palais du Cinquantenaire. The day’s activities included conferences, pitches from this year’s finalists, and of course the Award ceremony itself.
As a gold award recipient, Shotl will now have the opportunity to receive specific entrepreneurial and business mentoring from both Boston Consulting Group as well as other legal and corporate partners who could play a key role in helping to develop and expand our operations further. In addition, the EUSP prize includes an all-expenses-paid tour of five European tech capitals; this will allow us the opportunity to meet other innovators and potential future partners.
EUSP is widely recognized as being one of the biggest awards in Europe when it comes sustainable mobility initiatives, so naturally, the Shotl team are extremely proud to have received the award and the recognition which it is certain to bring!
