Shotl Win Major Prize at the iOMobility Awards 2019 in Rome

On Wednesday the 27th of November we attended the Spazio Novecento in Rome where we received the Gold Award for Open Innovation. 2019 was the very first edition of the iOMobility Awards, part of the annual “iOThings” event. We are extremely honored to be the first-ever recipients of this award!

The award ceremony took place on the 27th and 28th of November and featured four unique categories; Enhanced Data, Mobility as a Service, Mobility Technology, and Open Innovation. The awarding body iOMobility is set to become the most important organization within Italy’s Tech-Mobility world and was created specifically as a platform to focus on innovative solutions for mobility users.

iOMobility aims to highlight how Digital Transformation is revolutionizing today’s mobility world by celebrating the use of innovative digital technologies. Going forward, there will be two editions held annually. One in spring in Milan and the second ceremony in late autumn in Rome. The goal is to celebrate the various innovations currently being put to use throughout the different regions of Italy.

This year, Shotl has been actively involved in increasing ridership in the Italian city of Vimercate. Looking on from this recent recognition of yet another successful deployment. We are excited about the potential to expand our operations further throughout the rest of Italy. Watch this space.
