New York City, March 31st 2022 — Since our foundation, only 5 years ago, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to partner with bold pioneers who believed in our technology early on: transport operators, transit authorities and city councils who brought a strong willingness to unravel the long-established inefficiencies and costs of public transportation. Together, we have built a technology that solves some of the hardest problems in mobility.
Every day, Swvl's mass transit systems are empowering millions of individuals to go where they want, when they want – making mobility safer, more efficient, accessible, and environmentally friendly, to break the barriers for the less privileged who need better access to employment, education, and healthcare. Now, we want to make this available in every city across the Globe.
If anything, today’s event gives us more energy and resources to double down on what got us here in the first place, and that is our commitment to providing cities with more efficient, sustainable and accessible transportation systems. We are only at the beginning of what’s possible in mobility, and we feel more responsible than ever to support the men and women who are leading the transition to a more livable, cleaner and more inclusive world.
Swvl is a public company. Now you can share, and own shares in our vision. Welcome on board.
